Personal data
Personal data is any information about the personal or material circumstances of an identified or identifiable natural person. This includes information such as your name, address, phone number, job title and company. Information that cannot be linked directly to your identity – such as the number of users of a page – is not personal data.
Server logs
Every visit to the pages of this website is recorded and stored in server log files. This data is used exclusively for the technical analysis of server usage. Specifically, the following data is collected:
- requesting host address (IP address)
- date and time of the request
- name of the requested file
- HTTP status code
- amount of data transferred
- website from which the file was requested
- browser, operating system and interface
Purpose: This data is collected to establish the connection and enable use of the website, for system security, for the technical administration of the network infrastructure and to optimise our website. IP addresses are only analysed in the event of attacks on the network infrastructure. The data is not passed on to third parties, either free of charge or for payment.
Legal basis: Processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests of the controller (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Right to object: As this data is strictly necessary to provide the website, there is no option to object.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not set cookies and does not use any analytics or tracking services. Fonts and all other content are loaded from our own server; no data is transferred to third parties when you visit the website.
Online applications
Purpose: If you apply to us, we need information about you. We assure you that your information will be treated confidentially. The data collected is processed solely for the purpose of selecting applicants and, where necessary, passed on to and used by internal departments.
Legal basis: Art. 88 GDPR in conjunction with Section 26 BDSG (German Federal Data Protection Act)
Application information: We look for the best candidates regardless of ethnic origin, gender, religion or belief, disability, age or sexual identity. We therefore do not need any information from you on these matters.
Processing and deletion of your application: You can have your application changed or deleted at any time, and ask us to help you with this, by contacting our HR department. Personal data will then be deleted in accordance with the applicable legal provisions. This does not apply where statutory provisions prevent deletion, where further storage is necessary for evidential purposes or where you have consented to longer storage. Personal data is deleted after the application process has been completed, at the latest 6 months after it ends. If an employment contract is concluded, your data may be transferred to your personnel file for the usual organisational and administrative purposes, in compliance with the relevant legal provisions. You may of course withdraw your application at any time.
Processing and use of contract data
Purpose: If you conclude a contract with us as a customer or place an order with us, only the data required to perform the contract or order is collected and stored in a customer management system. This data is treated confidentially and, apart from statutory disclosure obligations, is processed solely for the purpose of handling your order.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR
Storage period: The storage period is determined by the applicable commercial and tax law provisions.
